Christopher Egerton-Thomas has published 9 novels and 8 non-fiction books, as well as many articles. His restaurant, bar, and catering books are published by John Wiley, are in print worldwide and in the process of being offered as eBooks. ‘Royal Singles’ was published by Simon and Schuster. Christopher has appeared extensively on United States television, and on radio in U.K. and Australia.

After attending Richmond School, Yorkshire, he spent several years in what is now The Yorkshire Regiment, serving in Germany, Gibraltar, Libya, and the Yemen. He also joined the Parachute Regiment (T.A.).

He studied wine in Pauillac and Jerez, before moving to Paris and Madrid to study languages. Then he became a wine salesman in London.

He was a spirits and wine salesman in New York, where he also worked as a bartender or manager in well-known establishments such as El Morocco, J G Melon, and Elaine’s.

He has written articles for Il Piacere (Italy), Town and Country, Vanity Fair and Woman; letters have been published in The New York TimesDaily NewsNew York Post (USA), Daily Telegraph, Sunday TelegraphSpectator (UK).

As a ghost writer he produced the memoirs of a Cabinet Minister who was a confidante of Churchill and de Gaulle, and a best-selling diet book for a New York doctor.
